Data Analysis

National Statistical Institute advocates statistics as science and profession, promote statistical literacy, statistical education in Nepal and South Asia and international cooperation in statistics. National Statistical Institute provides project and consultancy services through its network of national and international experts. It has multidisciplinary team of experts who extensive experience and knowledge of problems and issues of different part of world. National Statistical Institute is pool of resources includes network of domestic and international professionals from diverse discipline such as health, management, markets, agriculture and information and communication technology. 

National Statistical Institute has capacity of data analysis and uses various scientific technique to conduct the surveys and censuses in Nepal. The scientific technique includes the sampling frame development, sampling design, weight estimation, data analysis in STATA or SPSS etc. The coding in STAT will be provided for the researchers to know the outlier detected, trimming technology etc. 

National Statistical Institute is now engaged in producing the indicators for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by Heads of State and Government at the United Nations Summit in September 2015.This note aims to provide general guidance and elements of a common understanding on a Human Rights-Based Approach to data with focus on issues of data collection and disaggregation.
